The Coombs Family

I just love my little family. My kids are pretty funny when it comes to pictures. Shelby won't get out of the way of the camera, and Calvin refuses to be in any picture at all. So we have a million pictures of Shelby and just a few of Calvin. I love the pictures and love the photographer we used this time too. I just love people who truly have an artistic eye, understand lighting and color, and don't have cheesy poses. I can't wait to use her again. Andrea Child is the photographer we used, and I definitely recommend her to others.

We found out last month that it's a healthy baby boy. Calvin is beyond excited and Shelby finally is too. Shelby and Calvin both went to the ultrasound with Caleb and me and it was so cute. They loved to see the babies little hands, feet, and heart. Shelby was ver interested in the brain, which is typical Shelby. When they announced it was a boy, Shelby actually cried. She wanted a little sister so bad. Caleb and I weren't sure if she was being serious or joking but she really was sad. For the next three days she wouldn't talk about it and would get really upset all over again. And now, she's very excited and totally ready to be a big sister again. Caleb is not a very protective or worried husband. He always tells me that he knows I can handle myself and he loves how independent I am. However, my kids think I am a total baby and they are so worried about me all the time. If we go for walks, they tell me where to go to be safe. Shelby is always trying to feed me extr
