Happy Girl

Image
Shelby has been so much fun lately. She laughs all the time and loves to play with toys. She has been helping me teach Sunday school at church and all the kids love her. They pass her around and argue over who gets her next. She doesn't seem to mind all the strangers and it's fun to see her play with them.

Hair Cut!

Image
Shelby got her first hair cut. She had a mullet and Caleb didn't like it. She has short hair on the top and a tail in the back. I thought it was pretty cute but Caleb said it had to go. She shook her head right and left the entire time we tried to cut it. Needless to say, there are a few bad spots but overall we did pretty good.

Happy Valentine's Day

Shelby got her 4 month check up today and I'm pretty sure she recognized the nurse who gave her the shots last time because she wouldn't smile at her at all. The doctor came in and she was all smiles and talking to him and showing off. The nurse came back for the shots and Shelby instantly removed her smile and tried to give the nurse the evil eye. In the end, she cried for about 5 minutes and then took a 2 hour nap. Not too bad. She weighed in at 16 1/2 pounds, the 95th percentile She is now 26 inches long, the 95th percentile And her head is 17 1/4 inches...... still off the charts!

Peek-A-Boo

Image
Shelby has decided that her new favorite game is peek-a-boo. She cracks up every time! It's very entertaining and we play it until she gets sick of laughing. She is starting to be very self-entertained as well. She can pick up toys, puts everything in her mouth and chews on her fist all the time. She loves her jumper and bounces like crazy for the first ten minutes and then she is usually pretty pooped and ready to be held again. Her four month check up is coming up and I can't wait to see how much weight she has gained.
