New house

It's official, I am a home owner. Our new house is amazing! Poor Shelby is not really sure what is going on. We painted inside the entire upstairs during the week and didn't move in any furniture. She was so tired that she went into my closet, used my work clothes and made herself a bed.

After we finished painting, we moved in on Saturday. My family was a huge help and they unpacked and moved almost everything. Caleb and I are left with very little to finish up. We woke up on Sunday to our new house for the first time and it was awesome! Too bad Caleb and Shelby both got sick on Sunday and ended up throwing up most of the day. Blaaaa. Here is Shelby passed out on my bedroom floor.
Caleb has given his self a very busy to-do list with the new house. He is going to build some stuff, clean some stuff, and design more stuff. It's going to be a good project for him as long as he doesn't burn out too soon. Here he is pressure washing the deck outside.
We had tons of help moving. My whole family showed up, even my Grandma & Grandpa Miller came and made dinner for everyone who helped. Thank you to all the support so my pregnant body didn't have to lift the heavy boxes. Even though I did pack 90% of them, I did not have to pick them up!

 Those are Caleb's legs, he is hooking up the dryer while Trevor hands him parts.

June was the craziest month I have had in a long time. I am soooo glad it's July! Caleb almost didn't graduate on time and had to pay for summer term. He had one crown that he had to do twice because the lab kept messing it up. The school finally notified us three weeks after graduation that he was OK to graduate and could come checkout. We found out Caleb didn't pass his boards completely and now gets to fly down to California in August to re-do part of it. He has to fly two different patients down too with him, once he finds them. Hopefully he can find one patient that needs both procedures to help save costs. His job in Eugene didn't workout since he didn't pass his boards. They needed someone to start immediately, so they gave it to someone else. The company, Capital Dental, still considers him employed and is keeping his contract. So he still has work, we just have no idea where it will be right now. Hopefully it will be somewhere close to this house we j

Calvin had a bad day

I got a call at work from Krista, the lady who watches my kids. She said Calvin fell and hit his lip and probably needed stitches. I picked up my purse and ran out of work as quick as I could. I was on hold for 15 minutes trying to reach his doctor, which was aggravating. But once they answered I was at Krista's door and could see what was going on. Calvin was playing in a bedroom, tripped, and fell onto the frame of the bunkbed. Which is metal by the way. The sharp edge of it too. Poor kid always falls, but usually it's the forehead that gets the brunt of it. This time it was his lip. The upper part of his gums really. You can see most of the cut here: We finally reached his doctor and took him in. They didn't give him stitches even though it was still bleeding. It's been 8 hours now and it still bleeds when he talks, eats or drinks anything. It has not stopped him from doing his sound effects for cars and trucks so he spits blood everywhere.
