Easter

This year for Easter we went to my parents house for the annual egg hunt. Luckily the weather cooperated so we could play outside. We played soccer, frisbee, and baseball until it was dark outside. I love it when all the kids can play together and have a good time.

19 Year Anniversary

Caleb and I decided to take a snowboarding trip to Aspen Colorado. I’ve never been and it was on both of our bucket list. We headed out for a nice five day getaway and ended up going to the mountains three days in a row. The first day we went to Highland, the second day we went to Aspen and the third day we went to Snowmass. We were very sore and tired after three consecutive days, but each mountain offered very unique experiences and it was so much fun. The city offered a lot of easy to get to restaurants and art shows. I love walkable cities. In fact we were able to walk to the gondola it was only about 500 feet from our hotel. We basically snowboarded back home after we were done. we went to some really cool art shows the last day and met with a antique dealer who had some guns from the 1800s. we learned that everybody in Aspen has tassels on all their clothing. It was very relaxing and full of adventure at the same time. All our kids get a long great and the time always goes by too quickly. On the way to our trip the roads were so bad that we got stuck in a ton of traffic by Hoodoo. Caleb was the front car and we were behind and just started making our own lane and passing everyone. They were all stopped for no real reason but it was getting dark and the conditions were worsening. It was snowing a ton and icy but stopping on the hill wasn't my idea of safety either. It was ske...
